EmilyIt’s awesome that you posted this video! Stanley is being brought up to be placed into a Vancouver Island based rescue. They asked Adam and I if we would foster him, but there are so many people who want to take him as a foster that he’ll most likely be going to my friend Michelle.
Right now Stanley is at a vet in California. He’s been undergoing treatment for his mange and he’s been neutered. He should be heading up here in a couple weeks, and, if we don’t take him, we’ll be having regular play dates with Daisy and Olive, so I’ll be able to post some update videos on flickr for you!
I have the password/login for the webcam to his kennel at the vet so we can watch him all day. He mostly sleeps, and when he’s not sleeping he’s wagging his tail at the vet techs who change his blanket and water.
EllenThis made me cry but was well worth watching. This needed to be brought to people’s attention. Unfortunately,there are many dogs like Stanley. Thanks for showing this video.

You and the video are so right – so many dogs available at shelters and rescues. He looks like such a sweet boy, and shar pei – all or part. Thanks for sharing this heart-wrenching story. Really. Whose heart doesn’t need a wrench sometimes?
