we had a great time virtually in Katy and Rob’s back yard … a series of lovely trails along the river, maintained by the neighboring homeowners.

and when i spotted this little field and saw the magical light, i knew we had to spend some time there.

and before heading back to the house we backtracked a little to a wheat field that i’d spotted on my drive to the shoot. it had to be the absolutely last wheat field standing in all of ontario, and it seemed Bentley was almost as happy as i was to have found it. i think Bentley calls this stuff wheeeee-at!!

Jenniferthe light in the second shot is amazing, I can’t stand it. Love the HUGE log shot on land and big stick shot in the water too, looks like a fun boy to photograph. P.S. to his owners, it is nice to see someone who knows how to keep a dog’s nails the proper length!!!! LOL! Gorgeous boy.
