remember this face?
you saw these rough-and-tumble boys a little earlier on the blog as a sneak peak. and here they are – at last – in a slightly fuller entry…
Drake is the wild, younger brother … and typical of GSPs is low on common sense and high on crazy …
older brother Spike — at thirteen — is a little wobbly and weary, but there’s no stopping him, no matter how many times his younger brother bowls him over.
i was able to fit Deb’s shoot in just before the last of the wheat fields came down …
although this particular wheat field was mighty tall. of course, i’m sure i’ll be standing corrected when someone informs me that this isn’t wheat. anyone?
this boy certainly has some unique expressions … even though he rarely sat still longer than two seconds for me to capture them.
this boy almost never stopped moving …
… or hunting.
old man Spike was a little more easily manipulated into a stay …
… but not by much.
thanks, Deb and boys. hope you enjoy your finished gallery. see you soon at your follow-up shoot on the beach!
Holly Garner-JacksonDrake’s got some wild eyes! Love what you’ve been able to capture of these wild boys. Must have been a lot of hard work to catchup to them and get such awesome shots. Can’t wait for the beach shoot!
SylviaGreat photos! That second one is my favourite though.
SydneyFantastic!! I have a few favorites but they are all so good. You have so much talent.
JulieI love these!
Ginger McNuggetLow on common sense and high on crazy? Absolutely perfect. K’mere Drake…
AdamAwesome set, love the young guy’s expressions and liveliness. Great the the old guy is holding so well.
I love the wide angle shots on the path in the forest. Hell, they’re all great. Superb work, Illona!
SimonAnother great set, I like the wide shots too.
KamalaThe young guy looks like a serious nutball! Otis would enjoy him. I think I’m in love with Spike. Love the shot of them walking through the woods from behind, with fog/mist (?) up ahead. Beautiful.
Amanda AlvaresYour work is truly some of the BEST dog photography I have ever seen! I absolutely love it! I also love your choice of using a wide angle lens for a majority of your shots, it really adds personality to the images! Awesome work! 🙂
Loribeautiful shots, as always! I love the one where in the allee of trees in which it looks like they might be conjoined 🙂
MargaretFabulous as always! The youngster just brings a smile to my face; but I do love me an old-timer! Love his gray face, and just, “I’ll get there when I get there” walk. 🙂
