  • Riley's momThe shoot was amazingly fun. Riley was totally ‘juiced’ by Illona and would do just about anything for one of her liver treats! She captured who he truly is in just this one photo; can’t wait to see all the other pics! Thank you Illona! (Big thank you to Kevin too for turning us on to Scruffy Dog Photography.)ReplyCancel

disorderly borders ~ {Acton, Ontario pet photography}

you’ll be seeing more of this crew soon … the Sprague borders.  Bill, Ed, and Jazz  … a zany bunch, each with such wildly different characters and energies that it took all my years of dog savvy and experience to soothe their different energies and anxieties …

but in the end we had a great shoot, resulting in a full array of fabulous images (which i still have to work on), including Alvin the cat, who is black and white, of course!  stay tuned for more of the Sprague borders soon …

    a good read. What a thrill to see your photo of Matea and the little boy on the cover. I have to tell you that what he reveals about the emotional life of dogs is exactly what you capture in photos so beautifully. Congrats.ReplyCancel

stella and riley ~ the bedroom series ~ {Guelph dog photographer}

with a full fall schedule, i’m falling behind with sneak peeks and even whole-shoot entries, so i’ve decided to share tidbits as they come up during my post processing, here and there.  and today i thought i’d share the bedroom segment of Stella and Riley’s shoot from last week.

as suggested in the scruffy dog pre-shoot package that is sent to clients, mom Allison took her two super-stars for a good hike earlier in the day and then for a good romp with other 4-legger friends to burn off some energy, so believe it or not, these photos were taken before our outdoor location at the quarry.

and you’d never know it, but Riley is a non-stop energy demon …

in fact, i was worried we weren’t going to be about to rouse them for our shoot!

fortunately we did, and i hope to share the madness of our wild and zany shoot at the quarry soon.
