jazper ~ {Waterloo pet photographer}

yes, another cat.  meet jazper …

he loves his backyard …

and, for some unknown reason, he fell in love with my Crumpler camera bag …

he does enjoy just lazing around …

but he’s also a boy with much to do … places to go … flowers to sniff …

and … then … more napping …

of greatest note are Jazper’s fabulous eyes.

thanks for being such a willing model, Jazper.  i hope you enjoy your client gallery, Dawn.

  • SamanthaI love him! Such a fashion model! Lay down here over there pose, look pretty, look pouty, look serious. And the red tags make it all POP. And on top of all that he’s floofy. Especially love the last photo.ReplyCancel

miles of smiles ~ {Ontario pet photographer}

oh man … what can i say about this little dude?  this is just a sneak of a little guy i met the other day for a shoot.  his name is Miles …

… and his mom made sure he was tucked firmly under her arm as i packed my gear because, i swear, i was gonna stash him in my Crumpler camera bag and take him home.  or maybe he would have just danced all the way home with me …

you’ll be seeing loads more of Miles’ smiles once i get a little more caught up with all of the July client shoots and get through Miles’ massive shoot.  i totally overshot this little guy … who wouldn’t!?

so for now, you’ll just have to wait.

  • FrankHa! He’s a “keeper” as Holly says alright! I can see why his Mom kept hold of him as you packed up. Love that scruffy face…Doing your usual job of finding the very best captures to show him off, too! Super pics, Illona, can’t wait to see the rest!ReplyCancel

  • Holly Garner-JacksonOh, oh! scruffy dog alert! illona, you’d own every scruffy dog in the world if you could 😉 Do what you do best and show them off with your wonderful photos. These photos do the job and you can see this guy certainly is a keeper!ReplyCancel

wild whacky GSPs ~ {Waterloo dog photographer}

remember this face?

you saw these rough-and-tumble boys a little earlier on the blog as a sneak peak.  and here they are – at last –  in a slightly fuller entry…

Drake is the wild, younger brother … and typical of GSPs is low on common sense and high on crazy …

older brother Spike — at thirteen — is a little wobbly and weary, but there’s no stopping him, no matter how many times his younger brother bowls him over.

i was able to fit Deb’s shoot in just before the last of the wheat fields came down …

although this particular wheat field was mighty tall.  of course, i’m sure i’ll be standing corrected when someone informs me that this isn’t wheat.  anyone?

this boy certainly has some unique expressions … even though he rarely sat still longer than two seconds for me to capture them.

this boy almost never stopped moving …

… or hunting.

old man Spike was a little more easily manipulated into a stay …

… but not by much.

thanks, Deb and boys.  hope you enjoy your finished gallery.  see you soon at your follow-up shoot on the beach!
