gearing up for Woofstock!

although we’ve wanted to attend in previous years, scheduling has never allowed us.  but this year scruffy dog will be at Woofstock!

and we’re pretty psyched!!

for those who can attend — JUNE 12/13 — we’d love to see you and your four-leggers!

for past scruffy clients, you might even find yourself on “the wall” or in one of the studio photo books!   so stop in.  browse the pretty pics.  chat a bit.  have a biscuit (graciously provided by The Barkery in Stratford).  and if you like, book a scruffy dog Woofstock special.

there’s definitely something for everyone at Woofstock … make a day of it.  heck, make a weekend of it.  either way, we’d love to see you there!

merrick gets a bath

just a quickie entry … thought i’d share a few bath photos from earlier today.  merrick will be meeting his grandma for the first time tomorrow and i thought he could use a little sprucing up …

you’d never know this little rescued, puppy-mill guy hates baths even more than he hates the camera … but with the right treats, and enough promises of “balls”, i managed to get him through his short shoot like a pro.

of course, no dog will ever own the tub — or the camera — quite the way morley did.

oriana’s a momma

these photos were taken exactly one week before she popped.  grandma Sue was expecting lots of puppies but not quite as many as she’s helping to nurse right now.

twelve squirming white fuzz balls … i heard them just now over the phone as Sue got the formula ready for them!  Oriana had fourteen but, unfortunately, two didn’t make it, and the delivery wasn’t easy … a C-section was required and the milk has been slow to come … so grandma Sue has been up through the nights feeding the babies.

i’m glad we were able to get these shots of momma before she burst … a lovely, late afternoon before i had to rush off to training class with Merrick.
