winter cat special! book now

yes, at scruffy dog photography we love cats too, even though they can sometimes be a little less cooperative than the average Rover.

and winter is a fantastic time to photograph your feline friends indoors …

with much more natural light flooding through those windows, it’s the perfect opportunity to capture wonderful natural-light images.

and honestly, it beats the heck out of freezing my fingers around the grip of a camera at -15C.   so for the next eight weeks, scruffy dog photography is offering its very first cat special!

book your feline’s photo-session to be shot before March 21st and receive a $100 worth of fine-art prints!  Yup, $100!

of course, if you have two or more cats — as with dog shoots — i always recommend the “extended Rover” to double the shoot time and, more importantly, double the finished images of your feline kids.

sometimes we get a little stir-crazy around here

forgive me viewers, it has been two weeks since my last confess … er … posting.

with the Christmas rush over, things have finally quieted down somewhat at scruffy dog headquarters.  then again, “quiet” is always a relative term … i thought i’d share a few images of what my two scruffies view as quiet time …

in an attempt at a psych-out, morley’s spin-and-reverse maneuver stops matea in her tracks …

morley-76

… and causes a near collision …

morley-77

and as the old man loses interest matea drags her bunny into the fray …

but morley’s done …

for those who don’t know it, morley is 14 1/2 (adopted at 9 years of age).  honestly, he doesn’t play much, especially with the queen of terror … so when these two DO get their rip on, it’s something i definitely try to capture.

enjoy yourselves, and your dogs!

this year, please … do something for just one dog

this video was forwarded to me by a rescue group. you’ll need a hanky (unless you’re a stone), but please watch it.

please adopt, don’t shop. and PLEASE, make this the year you do something … for just one needy dog.
